Liquid Outdoor was formed in 2009, when the founding Partners Patrick Sherry and Paul Ducharme made the strategic decision to merge their individual companies together – Trine Outdoor and Black Dog Media. Since the merger, Liquid Outdoor has expanded its national footprint and product line, and now offers a very strong portfolio of innovative media properties and sponsorship opportunities across the country. Liquid Outdoor boasts a premiere client list of the largest national advertisers, marketers and ad agencies in the world, and is recognized and well-respected as a major independent national advertising and sponsorship company.
Pat began his advertising career more than 20 years ago when he moved to New York City to manage and expand the national sales and marketing office of the outdoor advertising firm Revere National Corporation. He spent ten years with Revere where he expanded the national client base and revenue significantly.
Since then, Pat has held Senior Level Executive positions in New York with Universal Outdoor (now part of Clear Channel Outdoor), GE Capital’s Equity media division, and Alloy Media & Marketing. In these capacities, he was instrumental in forming innovative cross-platform media strategies, expanding business through acquisitions and new product development, and leading the sales and marketing efforts across the country with major national advertisers and agencies alike.
An entrepreneur at heart, Pat decided to start his own outdoor advertising firm in 2007, and rapidly grew his company Trine Outdoor into multiple national media markets. In 2009, he merged his company with Black Dog Media, and the new company Liquid Outdoor was born.
Pat graduated from Ohio University and the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism with a BA in Journalism/Advertising. He resides in Westchester County, NY with his Wife and three children, where he is very active in the community and coaching youth sports.
Paul began his outdoor advertising career in 1993 working for Revere National Corporation as an account executive in Washington, DC. In 1996 he accepted a position as a National Account Executive in New York City. Through a series of corporate acquisitions Revere became Clear Channel Outdoor where he remained until 2002. While at Clear Channel he sold advertising into over 40 national markets handling in excess of $25 million in annual billing.
In 2003 Paul founded Black Dog Media, Inc. which specialized in representing outdoor advertising in the top 20 media markets. Black Dog Media quickly became one of the most respected boutique sales firms in the industry managing over 100 structures. Black Dog Media was also successful in leasing and developing several spectacular billboards and wallscapes. In 2009 Black Dog Media merged with Trine Outdoor and Patrick Sherry to form Liquid Outdoor Media LLC.Paul graduated from Hartwick College with a BA in Economics. He now resides in Pennington NJ with his Wife and two boys.
